Electroliquid aggregation.

NICOLE KUEPPER.

“And so we started thinking about simple processes that we could use like low temperature firing conditions, ink jet printers because they’re very simple and easy to understand and we came up, basically, with this new way of making solar cells that is cheap, low tech, low temperature and able to be done in some of the least developed countries in the world…we hope."

STEPHEN HAWKING.

“Despite this cautionary tale, I believe we can and should try to understand the universe.e we have already made remarkable progress in understanding the cosmos, particularly in the last few years. We don’t yet have a complete picture, but this may not be far off. The most obvious thing about space is that it goes on and on and on.”

ELECTROLIQUID AGGREGATION.

Despite this cautionary tale, I believe we can and should try to light up the world. We came up with this new way of making solar cells that: cheap, low tech and able to be done in some of the least developed countries in the world…we hope. We don’t yet have a complete picture, but this may not be far off. The most obvious thing about space is that it goes on and on and on and we can only aspire to bring accessible artifical light in an affordable, economical and environmental manner to a portion of space; our world."

datum- texture animation.

This video explores the different textures which were inspired originally by the words mechancial, dense and artificial. These textures attempt to caputre the material or conceptual practice of the two artists.

datum- section animation.

This video demonstrates different sections in my model. These sections exemplify the asymmetrical shapes which make this space unique.

datum - perspective animation.

This video demonstrates the aesthetic appeal of various perspectives around and within my model. The perspectives as shown in the video allow Swallow's studio to appear empowering. Conversely, it also demonstrates Piccinini's conceptual practice as a social critic through the perspective on her studio in the video.

resolved model.

Piccinini's studio is below the gallery as this articulates her conceptual practice as a social critique, portraying not a particularly optimistic or bright view of the world, but using her art as a warning.
The gallery space is based upon these stairs. Artworks are placed on both sides of these zig-zag stairs. I chose to have my gallery upon stairs, as this allows the audience's experience to be transformed as they view the artworks.
Swallow's studio is above the gallery to suggest his status within the artworld. I have made this both a combination of a public and private space, as the audience is able to look up from the gallery. However, the doorway from the stairs up to the studio suggests its privacy.

Art Gallery of Ontario by Frank Gehry. - stairs.

This is not particularly the best video for my purposes, but I chose to use this video as these stairs designed by Frank Gehry function as an artwork itself in its gallery, as my stairs also attempt to do.
